Goals/Aspirations

1. To improve sector knowledge in appropriate technologies and sensible managerial skills through organization of selective specialists and focused training programs
2. To strengthen community and sector capability in structured and semi structured learning & consultancy
3. Community capacity building in water and sanitation projects, assisting communities to manager their own projects for the present and future use
4. To support and work closely with other non-governmental organizations, CSOs, CBOs, communities, government and donors in delivering and facilitating public education particularly in water and sanitation, health, hygienic and other environmental based issues through participatory responsive approaches and mass media.

Objectives

• To participate fully in the transformation strategic plans in Environmental management campaigns.
• To promote and maintain the maternal relationship with other NGOs in Tanzania, Africa and the world at large.
• To create environmental awareness to the whole community in the country.
• To campaign for Environmental Protection and Management to all community levels including literate and illiterate.
• To mobilize the community members especially youth and women as a force of change for development.
• To enhance and support the fight against poverty and diseases such as HIV/AIDS, cholera etc. by organizing and promoting activities and services and projects as may deem necessary to fulfil the purposes, functions and objectives set.
• To promote formal and informal environmental education programs throughout the country and world at large.
• To foster sharing of information about environmental awareness programs; to promote communication about environmental aspects; and to promote the pooling of information, resources and activities in connection with such programs.
• To foster research and evaluation in connection with environmental programs.
• To promote and enable networking of information amongst community, county, and state organizations on the protection and awareness of the environment.
• To assist in lobbying efforts on legislation which, will affect the environment within the limitations.
• To promote, encourage, co-ordinate and carry out short-term and long-term planning and projects in environmental management and protection.
