“TAEEs as a member of the Tanzania water and sanitation network (TAWASANET), managed to attend a 2 days’ training from 27th – 28th March, 2023 on Water Sector Equity Report Preparations, Budget Analysis, Policy Advocacy, and Documentation that was held in Dodoma at “Royal Village Hotel”.
The training aimed to build members’ capacity in preparing their own equity reports year by year and refrain from using consultants who were mostly being used to prepare equity reports.
The workshop stressed on Understanding issues around policy advocacy and practice influencing (borrowing experiences and lessons from members on their engagement to the sector at different levels).
The training facilitated members to brainstorm on the importance of documentation to the quality Equity Report development and understand Key meaningful roles to be played by TAWASANET members in the process of developing equity report, and approaches.”
